Please read our Private Dining FAQ which should hopefully answer some of your questions about hosting a private event here at the Stage Stop.  Please give us a call or email us if you have any further ones.  We look forward to helping you make some history of your own with family and friends.

Yes, we ask that you pay the event retainer fee in advance, this will reserve the room for you.

We offer some great dessert options on our menu however, we know that sometimes a celebration calls for a special cake. So, it’s ok with us if you bring in a cake. There will be a cake cutting/plating fee.

If you would like to bring a special bottle of wine, that’s ok too. There will be a corkage fee.

Of course! You are most welcome to bring in tabletop decorations, and any themed decor, gift bags, etc. We just ask that you not adhere anything to our walls and please no confetti or glitter.

To make your event extra special you will have an exclusive server and server’s assistant. Your reservation also includes all place settings, glassware and white linen tablecloths. And we promise, there will be extra butter!

Your reservation includes 2.5 hours of private dining.

Yes! 150 years later and the regular menu is still offered. Steak, lobster and lots of butter… Why break tradition now as it is what Wilmot Stage Stop is known for! Therefore, the full dinner and drink menus will be available to you and your guests. Appetizer or wine selections can be pre-ordered and delivered to your table upon your arrival. If you wish to have a customized menu, we are more than happy to assist you in making selections.

Soft background music is welcomed but please bring your own speaker as this room is not equipped with a sound system - they didn’t quite have that kind of setup back in 1848.

Take a step back in time when wi-fi didn’t exist and enjoy the surroundings of 1848 as guest wi-fi is not available.
